My first experience with birth came as a teenager when, at 16 years old, I became pregnant and chose to give birth by abortion. Eighteen years later, I am the proud mother of two sons, each of whom blessed me with vastly different birth experiences that shaped the person I am today.

My first son was born in a hospital under a doctor’s care. First-time parenthood felt overwhelming, and I struggled to embrace the essence of my role as a mother. My second son was born at home, supported by a midwife and a doula. That experience was life-changing, and the strength I discovered during that birth carried me through postpartum and continues to inspire me in every aspect of my life.

I felt called to help others find their paths and step into their power.

I trained with the late Jessica Austin to become a doula. From the very first day, I was captivated by her depth of knowledge and humbled by how much I still had to learn—despite having given birth twice and taken prenatal classes both times. It was then I realized that sharing honest, comprehensive childbirth education was the most impactful way I could contribute to the empowerment of women and the reclamation of their inherent birthing power.

From the beginning, my mission has been clear: to inform, support, and empower parents to embrace their journeys with confidence, make informed choices, and carry their inner wisdom and strength into this sacred stage of life.

I became a Certified Childbirth Educator and Be with birth. was born!

Birth of a Business

Be a Force.

"Making things look easy isn't the only way to do them; isn't the only way to make things worth doing; isn't the only way to make you powerful." -Jessica Austin 1985-2021

My clients often shared how fulfilling their birth experiences were but expressed a significant gap in postpartum support—especially when it came to infant feeding. This resonated deeply with me, as I struggled with feeding my own children, too.

In the spring of 2022, I discovered Karla Masse, an International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), and was profoundly inspired by her compassionate and knowledgeable approach to feeding support. Her work stayed with me, and in 2023, I found the courage to pursue my own path toward becoming an IBCLC. Karla graciously agreed to mentor me, dedicating her time to supervise 500 hours of clinical training, even flying across the country to guide me.

Today, I am honored to operate a private infant feeding practice in Prince George, BC, and I have been approved to sit for the IBCLC board exam in April 2025.

But my journey didn’t stop there. Through my work in feeding support, I began noticing a recurring pattern of dysregulation in both new mothers and their babies. Babies thrive when they feel relaxed and secure, and mothers need that same sense of ease to nourish their own well-being. This understanding led me to explore deeper methods of support, and I completed my First Degree Reiki Practitioner training. I am now immersing myself in how balancing one's energetic field can help mothers not just survive but truly thrive.

The essence of my career is to help women recognize and harness their incredible power as natural forces and nurture a deep connection with their babies.

Welcome—I am honored to do this work and deeply grateful that you’ve taken the time to connect with me here.
